Indoor and outdoor access points
SkimGuard works with RUCKUS R-series indoor access points for stores and lobbies, and T-series outdoor access points for forecourts, plazas and stadiums. It connects to whichever system you run: RUCKUS One in the cloud, or SmartZone or the RUCKUS IoT Controller on site.

Do I need new hardware?

What kinds of skimmers can it find?
Skimmers that send a wireless signal, mainly over Bluetooth. It can't find ones that don't, like a fake card-slot cover. An all-clear is a good sign, not a guarantee, so staff should still look at readers as part of their routine.
