Terminals spread across a district — inspected on a route, billed by the terminal.

Parking meters, unattended fuel, and ATM estates run few merchant accounts over thousands of dispersed terminals. SkimGuard prices your fleet per deployed terminal, organizes it into route-ordered inspection zones your team can actually walk, and documents every inspection in a PCI DSS 9.5 logbook with an immutable audit trail.

Detection is decision support for your team — SkimGuard detects card skimmers that transmit a Bluetooth signal and documents your inspections. It is not a safety guarantee.

Why per terminal

A district is one account and thousands of terminals.

A parking authority or fuel operator can hold a single merchant account over meters and pumps scattered across a whole city. Per-location pricing can't see any of them. The PCI work — inventory, tamper inspection, an audit trail — is per device, dispersed across the map, so that is the unit we price and the way we route the work.

Route-ordered inspection

Each zone gets an ordered inspection route. An inspector works it from a handheld — one-tap pass for a clean unit, a full checklist for anything that looks off — capturing offline where there is no signal and syncing when back in range.

Honest about coverage

A standalone meter has no access point or agent, so fleet coverage is inspection-based by default. Always-on monitoring applies only where there is an access point or agent — a garage, a back-office fuel site. We tell you which sites qualify.

Spares cost nothing

You bill only for terminals actually deployed and taking payments. A meter head pulled for repair, or a spare in the shop, is not billed while it is out — the movement is tracked in the device history.

Built for public entities

Purchase-order and fiscal-year invoicing, a contract reference on every invoice, and a contracted terminal baseline so a seasonal ramp never reprices you mid-term. The paperwork a municipal AP department actually needs.

How it works

Inventory the estate, route the inspections, keep the record.

01 — Inventory

Register every terminal

Import terminals by serial — bulk CSV or one at a time — and group them into zones by route. Deployed, spare, and out-for-service states are each tracked with a full movement history.

02 — Route

Walk the worklist

Each zone becomes an ordered route. Inspectors record tamper inspections with photos as they go, offline-first, so a dead-zone meter is still logged and reconciles cleanly once back online.

03 — Document

Keep an audit trail

Every inspection and device action lands in an immutable, exportable audit trail — who did what, when, where, and the outcome — the evidence an assessor or acquirer asks to see.

Per-terminal rates

Priced per deployed terminal, per month.

The whole fleet bills at the single rate band set by its combined deployed-terminal count. Compliance is the PCI logbook plus route-based inspection — the default for dispersed terminals. Automated adds always-on coverage where an access point or agent is present. Contact sales for a quote against your terminal count.

Combined deployed terminals Compliance Automated

Per deployed terminal. Compliance = PCI inspection logbook + route-based, point-in-time inspection — the default for dispersed terminals. Automated = always-on agent and/or access-point coverage where one is present (garages, back-office fuel), plus everything in Compliance. Estates above 7,500 terminals are quoted individually. A one-time platform fee (tenant setup, zone hierarchy, bulk onboarding, named contact) applies per contract — included in your quote.

Questions

Fleet, answered.

What counts as a fleet?
Payment terminals dispersed across many unattended sites under one operator — municipal parking meters, unattended fuel islands, and ATM estates spread across a district or region. A few merchant accounts can sit over thousands of terminals, so a fleet is priced per deployed terminal instead of per location. If your terminals are concentrated on one property, that is a campus.
How do you inspect terminals that are spread out?
SkimGuard organizes the estate into zones and builds an ordered inspection route per zone. An inspector works the route from a handheld, recording tamper inspections with photos — offline where there is no signal, syncing when back in range. Every inspection lands in the same immutable audit trail as the rest of your estate.
How is a fleet priced?
Per deployed terminal, per month, at a single rate band set by the combined terminal count across the estate. Fleet rates are lower than campus rates because the terminals are dispersed. Spares and units out for service are not billed while they are out. Annual billing is monthly × 10 (two months free). Contact sales for a quote against your terminal count.
Does a parking meter get always-on monitoring?
Usually not. A standalone meter has no access point or agent nearby, so its coverage is inspection-based by default: scheduled, route-based tamper inspection documented in the PCI logbook. Always-on Automated coverage applies where an access point or agent is present, such as a parking garage or a back-office fuel site. We will tell you honestly which of your sites can support it — we do not assume network coverage that isn't there.
Does SkimGuard help with PCI DSS?
Yes. Every fleet plan includes a payment-terminal inspection logbook that helps you document and meet the POI-device controls in PCI DSS v4.0 Requirement 9.5, plus an immutable audit trail of the kind Requirements 10.2 and 10.3 call for, exportable for your assessor. It is not itself an attestation or certification of PCI compliance; your overall compliance is assessed by your QSA or acquirer.
What exactly does SkimGuard detect?
SkimGuard detects card skimmers that transmit a Bluetooth signal, and documents your scheduled terminal inspections. A clear result is not a guarantee a terminal is safe — your team should always inspect the card reader. Detection is decision support, not a safety guarantee, and it does not prevent card fraud on its own.
