SkimGuard prices your campus per deployed terminal, adds a PCI DSS 9.5 inspection logbook and an immutable audit trail, and organizes the whole estate into zones you can actually manage.

Why per terminal

Your risk scales with terminals, so your plan does too.

A single Google Place ID can sit over a food court with fifty registers, a parking structure, and a dozen kiosks. Billing per location either overcharges for a small site or badly undercounts a large one. The PCI value — inventory, tamper inspection, audit trail — is per device, so that is the unit we price.

Zones you can manage

Subdivide the property into zones — food court, gates, parking, midway — each with its own inspection worklist and alert routing. A zone is a subdivision of the one campus location, not a separate account.

Spares cost nothing

You bill only for terminals that are actually deployed and taking payments. A terminal sitting in the back office as a spare, or pulled for service, is not billed for the time it is out.

A contracted baseline

Your rate band is set from a contracted terminal baseline, not a fluctuating count — so a seasonal ramp for a peak weekend never bounces you into a different band mid-contract.

Leased operators, attributed

Concessionaires and leased operators can be their own PCI merchant of record. Their terminals are attributed to them and broken out as a chargeback line on your invoice, so the paperwork matches the org chart.

Import your terminals by serial — bulk CSV or one at a time — and place each into a zone. Spares, deployed units, and units out for service are tracked with a full movement history.

02 — Inspect

Document PCI 9.5

Staff record tamper inspections on a schedule you set per zone or per device, with photos. Every inspection and device action lands in an immutable, exportable audit trail.

03 — Monitor

Detect and alert

On the Automated level, always-on agents or your own access points watch for skimmers that transmit. Suspicious activity routes to the right zone's contact. On Compliance, coverage is handheld and inspection-driven.

What counts as a campus?
A single, bounded property run by one operator that holds many payment terminals — a theme park, university, stadium, resort, or convention center. Per-location pricing fits a chain of separate storefronts; it does not fit one property with hundreds or thousands of terminals, so a campus is priced per deployed terminal instead. If your terminals are dispersed across many small unattended sites, that is a fleet.
How is a campus priced?
Per deployed terminal, per month, at a single rate band set by the combined terminal count across the whole property. Terminals kept as spares or pulled for service are not billed while they are out. Annual billing is monthly × 10 (two months free). Contact sales for a quote against your terminal count.
What is the difference between Compliance and Automated?
Compliance is the PCI inspection logbook plus manual, point-in-time inspection by your staff. Automated adds always-on monitoring through a desktop agent and/or your existing access points, and includes everything in Compliance. You can mix levels across the estate — a terminal is priced at its own level.
Does SkimGuard help with PCI DSS?
Every campus plan includes a payment-terminal inspection logbook that helps you document and meet the POI-device controls in PCI DSS v4.0 Requirement 9.5, plus an immutable audit trail of the kind Requirements 10.2 and 10.3 call for, exportable for your assessor. It is not itself an attestation or certification of PCI compliance; your overall compliance is assessed by your QSA or acquirer.
What exactly does SkimGuard detect?
SkimGuard detects card skimmers that transmit a Bluetooth signal, and documents your scheduled terminal inspections. A clear result is not a guarantee a terminal is safe — your team should always inspect the card reader. Detection is decision support, not a safety guarantee, and it does not prevent card fraud on its own.
Can concessionaires be billed or attributed separately?
Yes. A leased operator can be its own PCI merchant of record. Their terminals are attributed to them and broken out as a per-operator chargeback line on your invoice, so responsibility on paper matches who actually runs each terminal.
