Do I need IT help to set it up?

No. Put the app on an Android phone, invite your staff, and start checking. Most stores are set up in a few minutes. There's nothing to plug in and no equipment to buy.

How long does a check take?

About 30 seconds per reader. Many stores check at opening or at shift change.

What if it finds something?

Don't panic. Stop using that reader and have a manager take a look. The check is saved in your log with the time and who found it, so you have a clear record to share with your bank or card processor.

Can I cancel?

What counts as a card reader?

Anything a customer taps, inserts, or swipes a card on: a pump, a counter terminal, a self-checkout, or a handheld. Small Business covers up to 5 per store. Standard covers up to 20 per store. At a gas station, each pump counts as one.
