If you run stores that take cards, or you're a SkimGuard partner, your assistant can answer questions about your own SkimGuard account: which stores are due for a check, what turned up at a store, and whether your always-on checks are running.

Signing in
The one extra step for businesses.
Lookups for shoppers are anonymous. Your own business data isn't, so you sign in once to prove it's yours. You only ever see your own locations.
ChatGPT or Claude on the web
Just ask about your stores. The first time, SkimGuard shows a sign-in screen. Sign in with your SkimGuard account, approve, and you're done. Nothing to paste.
Desktop and developer apps
Apps like Claude Desktop or Cursor use a key instead. Create one in your SkimGuard portal under MCP API access, then add it to the connector. Developer details.

Using SkimGuard, which of my locations are overdue for a scan? List the stalest ones first.
A short daily to-do list, instead of something you have to remember.
What was seen at one store
Show me the Bluetooth devices SkimGuard saw at my downtown store in the last week, and flag anything suspicious.
Useful after an alert, or when a store just feels off. You see what was actually picked up, not just a red or green light.
Are my always-on checks running
Are all my SkimGuard scanners online and reporting? Tell me any that have gone quiet.
Catches a Wi-Fi or lane-computer connection that has stopped reporting before it leaves a store unwatched.
For partners
How your stores are doing
Using SkimGuard, summarize scan activity across the merchants I've referred. Who's active, and is anyone's coverage slipping?
A quick read on which of your stores are keeping up.
Where your money stands
What are my current SkimGuard commission totals, and am I clear to be paid out?
It also tells you plainly if payouts are waiting on your Stripe verification, the most common reason a balance hasn't arrived.

Risk by state
Using SkimGuard, show aggregate skimmer risk by US state for the last 30 days, and the device/manufacturer prevalence trends.
Totals only. No individual places, businesses or people.
The honest limits still apply
A way to find gaps, not a guarantee.
What SkimGuard finds
- Skimmers that send stolen card data over a wireless signal.
- Readers that are overdue for a check, so nothing slips.
What it can't find
- Skimmers that don't send a signal, like a thin overlay or a swapped reader. That's what the guided inspection is for.
- An all-clear means nothing was found. It is not a guarantee.
A store with no recent check is unknown, not safe. That's the point of the "overdue" and "still running" questions: they show you where to send someone next.
